Description
TECHNOMELT AS 4999 is a high performance hot melt adhesive , manufactured by Henkel,specially formulated for bonding flexible materials in furniture, mattress and upholstery applications, ideal for bonding PU foam, sponge, leather, non wovens, and wood composite materials. It offers excellent sprayability and a wide processing window with long tack time, delivering strong wetting and high final bonding strength. This adhesive provides reliable heat resistance and a strong bond even under stress, with no open joints after setting, making it suitable for demanding assembly environments. With typical working temperatures of 160 to 180 °C in the melting container and 170 to 190 °C at the application nozzle, AS 4999 is compatible with both automatic and manual application systems and supports efficient production processes for mattress, sofa, and furniture manufacturing operations.
